Thorough and good educator regarding reasonable options

The sales person was Steve Comfort and not Paul Ash. Steve was knowledgeable and presented a couple options. Also, Steve provided details regarding available rebates. Sales person just left 20 minutes ago. I cannot rate cost/pricing until the estimate is received.

Performed preventative maintenance for a high efficiency Goodman ac system. Upon arrival the thermostats were calling for ac. I put both thermostats in the off position. I powered down the system at the furnace and removed the access panels. The evaporator coil’s are clean and in great condition. Tested the drain pan, drain line and condensate pump with several bottles of water to ensure that there were no leaks or clogs. The homeowner stated that he had an issue with the condensate pump overflowing. I tested the condensate pump and checked the internal components and could find no issues with the system. I cleaned the washable air filter but suggested that the homeowner clean the filter using water, let it dry outside the re install it in the system. This will ensure that the filter is completely clean. The blower motor and blower wheel are clean and in great condition. I checked all electrical connections to ensure that they are secure and in good condition. I re attached the access

Completed a preventative maintenance on a 13 year old Lennox unit. I changed customer supplied 16x20x1 filter, I took the split temperature and it was only 11. Due to the age of the system the customer just wanted to add refrigerant and see how far that will go. I have a 20 degree temperature difference. And a 8 degree subcooling the system is operating properly. Performed a amperage readings on the compressor 7.04 amps and condenser fan motor 1.0 amps system is operating properly properly at this point

Existing air handler is a 2 ton ICP unit. Outdoor unit is a 1.5 ton ICP unit. R-22 refrigerant. Air handler is 42” tall, 16.5” wide, and 21.5” deep. Homeowner would like the unit on the existing angle iron/wood. Attic opening is 26.5” by 24”. After speaking with the homeowner and verifying the air handler and outdoor unit have separate circuit breakers I prepared 6 options. I advised the homeowner that I will need to verify the new air handler will fit, as the old one is 42” tall. I will schedule a return visit to present the options when both decision makers are home. N/C, estimate.

Came out today for a no heat call for a Goodman system model #ARUF37C14AC, serial #1807304934. Another tech was out on 12/13/22 and they found a blown fuse. He replaced it with a popper so the homeowner could reset it if needed. Upon arrival the system was calling for heat and the popper was tripped. I removed the access panels and reset the popper. It Tripp within 3 seconds. I turned the system off at the thermostat and set the blower for auto. I reset the popper again and again it tripped. I advised the homeowner that there is a short in the system somewhere an electrical troubleshooting is needed. I let the homeowner know the price for troubleshooting and explained that if I started today I would only be able to check the indoor unit. I cannot open the electrical compartment of the heat pump due to the rain. The homeowner stated that he would like us to make a return visit on a day when it is not raining so it could be done all at once. See estimate for pricing. No Charge for diagno

Went to a no heat call. Nothing was working when I got their. Took the fuse out put a 3amp popper in system worked just fine. Refrigerant levels where good and all low voltage wiring indoor and outdoor look fine. Also, the emergency heat was working as well. I could not find a reason for the fuse to pop. I left the popper in so if the issue happens again the home owner can reset it until we can come back and fix the issue. M#ARUF37C14AC s#1807304934
